Stylish Holiday Cottages in Camber

Welcome to Camber – a site for stylish unique holiday homes close to the beach.

Just two hours drive from central London, Camber’s fabulous stretch of coast line is only minutes from the historic Cinque Ports town of Rye. Here you can wander the cobbled streets and browse in the antique shops, relax in cosy pubs or dine out in great restaurants. This charming old town boasts a host of literary, foodie and historic events throughout the year. The ancient castles of Battle and Bodiam are nearby and the wonderful gardens of Sissinghurst (Vita Sackville West), Great Dixter (Christopher Lloyd) and Derek Jarman’s inspiring work in Dungeness are all within easy reach. For the more active there’s a wide range of sporting activities on offer, from kite-surfing to golf. Then back to Camber for more R&R to watch the sun set.

The Barn

We have been busy this year The Barn (three bedrooms), has been updated, repainted and looking gorgeous. Situated at the end of Farm Lane, peacefully secluded yet just a short walk from the beach The Barn has already won a loyal following, loved by families who enjoy a traditional ‘bucket and spade’ holiday and couples looking for a romantic break alike. The Barn provides the perfect retreat in all weathers cool in the warmth of summer and cosy with roaring log fires in winter.

Red Roofs

Red Roofs (Sleeps 8 – 10) is a contemporary four-bedroom holiday home, offering urban style in a stunning rural setting. It is just a few minutes walk from the beach and has sweeping views of the countryside with the dunes and the golf club in the background and Rye on the horizon.  Modern, sleek and the largest of the properties, it has big rooms and a stunning landscaped garden.

 Sunnyside

New to the market, Sunnyside is a charming 3 bedroom family beach-house (sleeps 4 – 5) nestling behind the dunes of Camber Sands down an unmade sandy lane. Under one minute from Camber’s award-winning beach, at high tide you can hear the sea from the garden.

Sandways

Sandways (sleeps 10) is newly converted with an abundance of style we nick named it Hepburn Cottage as there are nods to the famous Audrey – it is quirky with grey painted floorboards and white walls, a massive garden overlooking the golf course, and minutes from the beach.

Rye Bay Beach House

8 Royal William Square is part of a new eco development. As well as being good for the environment it is also good for the soul as it has direct access onto the sand dunes which means you are 30 seconds from the stunning beach of Camber Sands.   With three double bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and relaxed living it is a great escape from city living.  (Sleeps 6)
