The laid-back, open plan living and kitchen area spans the entire top floor. The pristine white and wood top-surfaced kitchen includes an integrated freezer, fridge, oven and electric hob. The dining area and open seating area overlooks the dunes with glimpses of the sea through the enormous windows across the front of the house.The floor below – which is also accessible by an external galvanised steel staircase and front door – features a master bedroom with generous en-suite shower room with an incredible 6ft driftwood bed. Two further bedrooms, (one twin and one double) each with full-length windows are decorated in an eclectic mix with access to an additional family bathroom. Both the top floor and first floor are enhanced by solid, sealed oak floorboards.
On the ground floor of the building is a bespoke utility room with oil-fired boiler, sink and cupboards with a washing machine, an additional fridge and space for all manner of beach paraphernalia. This practical, slate-tiled floor can be accessed by both an external door and internal staircase leading to the upper levels.

Outside
There is plenty of parking directly in front of the house. The deliberately low-maintenance garden features shingle on top of a weed preventative matting and is framed by two flower beds planted with grasses and bamboo.Pets
Maximum of two dogs are welcome at The Drift. There is a charge (see rates). We wish owners to respect the property and not allow dogs in the bedrooms or on any furniture. We take no responsibility for any dogs as the property is not pet proof. Please ensure that all dog mess is removed from the garden.Get groceries delivered… or order dinner!
Our local award winning butcher is happy to deliver delicious meat and cheeses (see links). There is an ever growing farmers market on Wednesdays in Rye with the freshest, local fish. Take the strain out of loading the car with groceries and have a Tesco direct delivery arrive on the same day. Georgina can also provide meals if booked in advance. Please ask for menus.Children
