About Us

Just two hours drive from central London, Camber's fabulous stretch of coast line is only minutes from the historic Cinque Ports town of Rye. Here you can wander the cobbled streets and browse in the antique shops, relax in cosy pubs or dine out in great restaurants. This charming old town boasts a host of literary, foodie and historic events throughout the year. The ancient castles of Battle and Bodiam are nearby and the wonderful gardens of Sissinghurst (Vita Sackville West), Great Dixter (Christopher Lloyd) and Derek Jarman's inspiring work in Dungeness are all within easy reach. For the more active there's a wide range of sporting activities on offer, from kite-surfing to golf.
